Rendez-vous le samedi 11 mai à 19h30 pour La Rose des pop – concert de musique populaire française – de la chorale franco! Avec artistes invités Étienne Gendron (percussions) et Maude-Julia Blanchet (chant, piano), ce sera une soirée fun-tastique. Bar payant, réception après le spectacle, billets 18$/14$ (gratis pour les moins de 10 ans) en ligne. Faites plaisir à maman la veille de la fête des mères en lui proposant une sortie familiale!
La Rose des Pop is the French choir’s spring concert, featuring French popular music, with special guests Étienne Gendron on percussion and Maude-Julia Blanchet with her own interpretations of works by the great French singers. The show starts at 7:30 pm on Saturday May 11th at the Centre des grands-vents. Tickets ($18 and $14, free for under-10s) are available online, from the Francophone Association office, and from choir members. Notre concert de Noël aura lieu au CGV le samedi 15 décembre de 16h30 à 17h30. Mais si vous ne serez pas dispo, on sera au Guv'nor Pub, rue Elizabeth, lundi soir vers 20h30-21h pour une petite demi-heure de chants de la saison.

Répétition ouverte à tous ceux qui voudraient reprendre ou essayer le chant choral en français. Venez nombreux chanter, rencontrer les choristes et prendre un verre! Open rehearsal (in French) for anyone who’d like to try choral singing in French. This is a relaxed event: we’ll sing some songs and wrap things up with a wine and cheese.
